Dewey Beach & Georges Mills Beach are open to Sunapee residents and their guests from May 25th until Labor Day (September 2, 2024). Beach Passes are required for parking and can be picked up at Sunapee Town Hall (proof of residence required) or requested online at https://sunapeenh.portal.opengov.com/.
Dewey Beach
Our beach staff does an outstanding job of getting our beaches ready for residents and their guests to enjoy each day in the summer months. Throughout the season we offer swim lessons, paddle boards and kayaks rentals, and a snack shack for cool treats. Whether you want to swim to one of the floating docks, build a sandcastle on the beach or play some basketball, Dewey Beach has something for everyone. Staffed Hours (weather-permitting) are Monday - Sunday 9am - 5pm.
Georges Mills Beach
George’s Mills beach is maintained daily throughout the season to continue offering this ‘hidden gem’ to residents to get away from the crowds. Staffed Hours (weather-permitting) are Thursday - Saturday ~10am - 4pm. Boat rentals are available during staffed hours.
