Baseball
Sunapee Baseball begins at the Tee-Ball level, typically around kindergarten age, and offers Rookie, Minors, and Majors divisions. All levels above TeeBall compete in the Kearsarge Valley Cal Ripken League. Yearly participation in Sunapee exceeds 100 players annually across these programs.
The program is designed to build skills progressively, starting with the fundamentals of catching, throwing, and hitting off a tee at the younger levels, and advancing to pitching and full-field play as athletes move into the upper divisions.
In addition, several Sunapee players participate in the Kearsarge Valley All-Star teams each summer, further highlighting the strong community support behind our baseball program.

Softball
Our girls’ softball teams participate in the Kearsarge Mountain South League, which offers Under 10 and Under 12 divisions for towns in the Kearsarge area.
Our coaches focus on teaching proper fast-pitch softball techniques and building a strong foundation for skill development, with an emphasis on pitching mechanics as players grow and progress. This program is designed to support long-term development and prepare athletes for continued success at higher levels of play.

Track & Field, sponsored by Granite State Track and Field
The Youth Track & Field program is open to boys and girls ages 9–14, with age groups based on each athlete’s age as of December 31, 20xx. Participants compete in age-appropriate running and field events.
The Granite State Track & Field State Meet will take place this year at Londonderry High School in Londonderry, NH, with the event beginning with a Parade of Athletes.
Events include sprints, middle-distance runs, relays, long jump, and softball throw, with specific events varying by age group. The 50m and 100m dashes will have both preliminary and finals heats.
