Soccer
Our soccer program has been growing in recent years, and we now host programs for kids in kindergarten - 6th grade. Our K - 2 level meets Saturday mornings in fall and focuses on foundational skills and drills. These are run by groups of volunteers, parents, and high school soccer athletes. At the upper levels (Grades 3 - 6), we participate in the Merrimack Valley Soccer League. This regional league provides good competition and has a focus on sportsmanship and skill development.
Soccer Sign ups open June 1st each year and run through July 15th. Late Sign up period then allows for late sign ups, with a $50 late fee
Lake Sunapee Turkey Trot 5K
The annual Thanksgiving Day tradition in Sunapee Harbor will celebrate its 20th year in 2026! Each year, hundreds of runners and walkers of all ages line the racecourse loop from Burkehaven Hill Rd to Lake Ave. The Turkey Trot is the biggest annual fundraiser for the Sunapee Recreation Department, and a favorite event across town.
Each year we continue to set fundraising goals. This year we are again partnering with Hoptimystic Brewing to make something special.. Stay tuned for details.
