Residents can apply for Transfer Station and Beach Stickers online through Sunapee’s OpenGov portal or at Town Hall. Current stickers are valid through October 2026.
Transfer Station/ Beach Stickers can be requested online at through Sunapee's OpenGov platform: sunapeenh.portal.opengov.com.
These stickers are required for entry to the Transfer Station, parking at Dewey Beach & Georges Mills Beach, and resident-only street parking across Town. Long-term tenants may also receive a pass by showing a lease of at least one year.
GUEST PASSES: Each property may request ONE annual guest pass that can be used in any car, as it is associated with the address rather than a license plate. Guests may leave this pass on their dashboard and be granted the same privileges as a town sticker.
The Selectboard recently adopted a new policy that grants each household or property two free resident (3-year) or tenant (1-year) passes, and additional passes may be purchased for $25 each through OpenGov. Guest passes are $100 to replace and only one replacement may be issued per year.
