The Friends of the Abbott Library is seeking volunteers to assist with the Pancake Breakfast this year, and the Library's Board of Trustees is also seeking volunteers for the annual Book Sale. These two events are always popular and well-attended fixtures on Sunapee's summer calendar, and they succeed because our community consistently steps up to help - now is the time!
We know your time is precious, especially on a holiday, but any time you can share goes a very long way to supporting these two fun family events. All proceeds go to support Abbott Library.
Book Sale volunteer opportunities start on July 1st, and those for the Pancake Breakfast are on July 4th (or you can bake muffins before the 4th). There is a variety of ways you can help out, and tasks are divided into shifts of approximately 1-3 hours, so you will still have plenty of time with family and friends - or bring them along too!
Details of available volunteer opportunities and sign-ups can be found here.
Alternatively, you can stop into the Abbott Library during regular hours, and sign up in person at our front desk.
Please note that the Library is closed on Friday, June 19th for the federal holiday, but we are open on Saturday, June 20th regular hours (9 am - 3 pm).
